Wooden Shutters, also know as plantation shutters are the must have window dressing of 2009.  Look around and you will see more and more people enhancing their properties with them.  They are more a piece of furniture than a blind and come in a variety of styles and colours.

Each shutter is built up of panels.  These can be opened or closed as required and you can angle the slats of each shutter to give more control.  Each panel can actually be split so you can control the top and bottom independently.

Prices on shutters have dropped dramatically over the last few years making them much more affordable.   If you like white or painted louvres then we can supply cost effective hardwood blinds.

Caution - lots of shutter companies around Milton Keynes and Bedford supply MDF blinds, especially the painted variety.  These are fine at first but MDF is prone to warping.  That’s why we supply a hardwood called poplar even though the wood may be covered in white paint.  
 
The cost is often the same as other companies quote for MDF but your shutters will last a lifetime, reflecting the investment you have made in your home.
